My name is Perry Cooke and I was born in September 2002. I live near Norwich with my parents and two older sisters.

I attend the Norwich School and my hobbies include football, rugby, cricket, cross country running but predominantly karting.

Whilst on holiday in Majorca about three years ago, my father took me to a kart circuit just outside Palma... I became instantly hooked! With my grandfather a former national hot rod superstar and my father a world champion, I guess motor racing is in my blood.

Unfortunately I was too young to compete at the time as regulations wouldn't permit me to race until I turned eight years old. So as soon as I could, I grasped the opportunity and began racing immediately.

After seeing my enthusiasm for the sport, my father bought me a Project One Cadet Kart and assembled a small team to help support me. We entered the 2011 Championship at EP Raceway in Beccles (my local circuit). My aim was not to get lapped by anybody and do my utmost to finish in the top ten. Over time I began to improve my lap times, achieving a fourth place, winning seven trophies for podium finishes and even a "Driver of the Day" award over 75 other entrants.

This year (2012) we set out to obtain an MSA National A License and with five trophies won at various UK circuits, we are well on our way to acheiving this.

I currently hold the fastest lap time for a cadet kart around Beccles circuit and I am a strong contender to win the championship. My aim is to keep improving so I can enter the SUPER ONE karting series next year... and win it!

I would like to thank my family, supporters and everyone that has helped me along the way.
